The 2019/20 AGM is at the Clubrooms 29th September at 11am. Please make an effort to catch up with the other crazy water-lovers.

The AGM is all about legal requirements, election of officers etc.

There will be a general meeting immediately after the AGM.

I require someone who uses facebook to take over the Website/Facebook duties, as I have been remiss lately. Facebook and I have issues, and I simply have no interest in FB itself.

Anyway new energy is due, and it is an easy job done from home once a week at most.

I will be in AKL, but will be dialing in for the meeting.

Welcome to the Wairoa Water Ski Club

The Wairoa Water Ski Club is located on the banks of the Wairoa River in Nothern Hawkes Bay. The club has been an integral part of the Wairoa River since the late 1950′s when formed by a group of enthusiastic skiers.

The club is family orientated with a growing membership base, predominantly from the Hawkes Bay / Gisborne region. It has its own club boat and a large selection of ski equipment for members to use.

In recent years some club members have enjoyed success nationally & internationally including 2 NZ Junior Barefoot Champs, 1 World Junior Barefoot Jump Champ and several NZ Barefoot Ski Team members.

The club has  completed major renovations of its clubrooms, including larger boatshed incorporating toilets, showers and changing rooms. New kitchen, new outdoor deck upstairs and internal stairway.

The Club runs Ski Schools, a Bridge to Bridge Ski Racing event along with Club Days and other social events.

Our membership has grown over the last few years, and we are continually striving for improvements in all aspects of Club activity.
